The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills have created a Guide for Community Buying Groups. Parkwood's 'R Shop' features as a case study within the guide alongside a solar panel buying group, a project where people receiving personal budgets group together to buy services and goods, an oil buying co-operative and oil buying group.
The guide aims to give practical information and advice on how to set up and run a community shopping group.
