At the end of August SILK and activmobs supported Parkwood residents in organising and holding a 'market place'. The idea was for all the residents involved in SILK and activmob projects to hold stalls so that they could talk to the community about what they were doing and how they could get involved. R Shop bulk buying were there along with community representatives from the Newsletter Mob, time banking and Little Munchkins mums and dads group. Tomorrows People who are also working in Parkwood had a stall and there was a play worker from Kent Childrens Fund Network doing arts and crafts with the kids.
