Diamond 3 projects are, we think, the most exciting. Making ideas into a reality. In many cases the service will be co-developed in an ongoing collaboration between communities, frontline and senior staff and organisations from across sectors.
The objective of Diamond 3 projects is to ensure that the service is delivering what it is meant to (what communities want) and that it is sustainable for the future - by this we mean that the correct infrastructure and people are in place to deliver the service. In community led projects we hope that the community will continue to deliver the service we have designed together once SILK is no longer actively involved in the project - however we will always remain available to offer support if asked. We hope though that during the project we would have given the community the skills and knowledge needed to continue to run the project themselves.
