On Friday 3rd July Sarah (from the SILK team) Jo (from Activmobs) and Jackie (a mum, resident of Park Wood and member of our core project team) attended Park Wood Community Fete in Maidstone to raise awareness of our bulk buying project with the residents. The weather was fantastic and the initial concerns of rain after such a sunny week were totally unnecessary!
The purpose was to raise awareness of the project, spend time talking to residents, show our friendly faces so the residents know who to approach about the project and to complete as many of our short questionnaires as possible. It was a really good afternoon and we completed over 50 questionnaires which will now be looked at by the KCC Research and Intelligence team. This will enable us to identify other groups of people in Park Wood that we still need to speak to, to ensure we have everyone’s views and also help us to narrow down what we need to start researching next!
