At the end of March the strategic policy team held an evidence based policy seminar looking at qualitative vs. quantitative research methods. It was an good opportunity to bring together practitioners from across the county that are interested in approaching projects using qualitative and quantitative methods to complement each other, to ensure more informed projects.
The seminar highlighted that there is some interesting activity of this kind that is happening already that we can learn from and replicate in the future. SILK will be working closely with the Research and Intelligence Team for all future projects. The day was facilitated by Sophia Parker who was described as 'inspiring' by one of the participants.
